We need your photos! We are creating a slide show for the end of the season banquet and we need lots of photos. Please look through your photos at home and see if you have any you’d like to loan to the cause. The more photos we have, the better the show, and the more swimmers we can show off.

If you have any great photos from a CSC event or meet, please forward them to Barb Coyne, editor of the Splashpad. All photos will be returned. Make sure you include your name and phone number. Our second annual spring banquet in April. The banquet figures once again to be our biggest social event of the season, and bigger than last year.

We will add the Speeding Ticket awards to this year's banquet, so all swimmers who have earned tickets throughout the season will be able to cash in their tickets for prizes. At this point, our swimmers are dropping so much time that we are handing out many tickets at each meet. We want to make sure we have enough prizes to appropriately reward our swimmers.

We also want to make sure our May and June meets are successful as well, so we can remain solvent through the summer when families no longer pay dues, but the club keeps paying rent, salaries and other expenses until our next budget takes effect in September.

To support our spring banquet and summer meets, the CSC Sponsorship Committee is creating a new donations arm to procure goods, services, gift certificates and other donations for Speeding Ticket redemption in April. Contact Paul Stauder or Susan Twer if you want to serve on this new committee.

To give members incentive to collect or provide donations, we will compensate families who contribute or solicit award materials with meet session credits for May and June. Each $250 of in-kind donations earns one meet session credit. All donations must be collected and logged by April 15 so the Social Committee can organize the table for the banquet. This is a great way to help the club, especially if you are not going to be able to fulfill your session work requirements at either the May or June meets.

You can drop off your donations at the club office. Just make sure a coach or Colleen Bonanne is there to note your contribution. Or, you can drop gift certificates in the drop box at the Carmel Aquatics Center. Just make sure you write your name on those items so we can make sure you get the proper session credits in May or June, whenever you choose to take them.

Thank you to all of our families for helping run a tremendous January Invitational meet. In addition to making money to help run our club, we hosted 46 teams from 13 states. It was great community service, and good publicity for our team.

We have an amazing group of volunteers who consistently step up when we have gaps to fill

(and we had LOTS of no-shows at this meet).

We would like to thank everyone who volunteered when it wasn't required, and a fine wasn't being imposed. There is a special place in swimming heaven set aside for you! We would also like to thank ALL the officials who came out and helped

to cover not only the Natatorium pool, but CHS

as well as it hosted the Metropolitan Indianapolis

Conference Championships for High School swimming the same weekend. This was a challenging weekend for CSC volunteer parents, and we rose to that challenge. Many visiting coaches told us what a good meet we ran.

There was also some very fast swimming. We are grateful to TYR for providing heat winner prizes to inspire some of those swims!
