Congratulations
to Carmel High School Girls Swimming and Diving on their
21st consecutive IHSAA state championship.
The state team was represented by Megan Detro, Emy DiBenigno, Jessie Hammes, Megan
Jex,
Taylor Koplow, Caitlin Lentz, Logan Mason, Katie McRoberts, Sam Partridge, Trish
Regan, Megan Sparks, Lauren Stauder , Ineke Stegger, Libby Weinkauf, Tori
Weinkauf , Alex Young.
They won thanks to guts, depth and speed,
the leadership of
Head Coach Chris Plumb,
Chris Webb,
Brian Pata and
Cindie Dean
and the support of all the girls on the team.

Carmel High School Coaches Receive
National Honors...

Four Carmel High School swim coaches received the
David H. Robertson
Excellence in Coaching Award that will be housed in the International
Swimming Hall of Fame in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. The four coaches are:

The NISCA David H. Robertson Excellence
in Coaching Award recognizes the
organizational and leadership skills
needed to train high school athletes to
compete successfully at the state
championship level. To qualify for this
awards the Head Coach shall have won at
least five team State Swimming
Championships. Congratulation
coaches!

Boys Came to Swim at IHSAA States
(2/27/05)
|
Carmel's boys swimmers
qualified 8 swimmers in the 2005 State
Championship meet. All of the
swims at the prelims and finals showed
what Carmel Swimming is about!
Though ranked in the 20's, Carmel
finished 11th indicating how well the
team swam at States. Be proud - a
great step-up year for the entire team!

won their record 19th consecutive
Indiana High School Athletic Association
championship in the IUPUI Natatorium

and they will give 20% of the cost
to the Carmel High School Boy's

Nation!

Congratulations go out to our
boys and girls High School Teams
for a fantastic season.
Recently it was announced that
CHS Boys team
finished 1st
in the national mythical
rankings and the
Girls Team finished #3.
Overall, in the
combined team totals Carmel was
#1.
This includes public and
prep schools!
This should be
published in Swimming World
Magazine July/August issue.
